From time to time when you are performing an act or duty it can sometimes be discouraging if there is no one to tell you you’re doing a good job, or the right thing.
There are always going to be some things you would like to do or say for the right reasons with good intentions, but you don’t do it because of the way it might come off or appear to outsiders who do not have your understanding on the matter.
Last night I was troubled. Today I have found God to give me the answer. Over lunch I read this passage that will allow me to further my reach to others, and not feel guilty or worried about the way my message could be misinterpreted.
I know not everything I do and say it going to be interpreted the way I want it to be. I strongly believe in always assuming the best out of everyone, but I’m not perfect. No one is. We all make mistakes. The point of the matter is though that many people will interpret your message the way you intended it, and they will love you for it. You may lose friends, or be judged by others, but those who you really hit home with will love you forever. Kind hearts recognize another.
Your Turn
When was the last time you held back action because you didn’t want your message to be misinterpreted? Today, tell that person how you really feel when they’ve inspired you, or done something you wish to model. If something is bothering you, let them know. They will love you for allowing them to grow and for you having the courage to stick up for yourself.
